\u2018Brahmakalashotsava\u2019 and \u2018Srirudra Homa\u2019 will be held at Talacauvery from April 5 to 11, said Bhagandeshwara and Talacauvery Temple Committee President B S Thammaiah.<\/p>\n

Speaking to mediapersons here, he said as per the decision taken by the temple management committee, \u2018Ashtamangala\u2019 and other rituals had been completed.<\/p>\n

Schedule <\/strong><\/p>\n

Giving details about the rituals that will be held during the period, he said on April 5 \u2018Bimba Parigraha\u2019, \u2018Punyaha\u2019, \u2018Vastu Rakshjna Homa\u2019, \u2018Vastu Bali\u2019 and others will be held.<\/p>\n

On April 6, \u2018Ganapathi Homa\u2019, \u2018Ankura Pooje\u2019, \u2018Bimbashuddi\u2019, \u2018Kalasha Pooje\u2019, \u2018Bimbashuddi Kalashabhisheka\u2019 and others will be held. <\/p>\n

On April 7, \u2018Ganapathi Homa\u2019, \u2018Ankura Pooje,\u2019 \u2018Shanthi Homa\u2019, \u2018Durga Namaskara Pooje\u2019 and \u2018Mantapa Samskara\u2019 will be held.<\/p>\n

On April 8, \u2018Trikala Pooje\u2019, \u2018Ankura Pooje\u2019, \u2018Tatva Kalasha Pooje\u2019, \u2018Anujna Kalashabhisheka\u2019, \u2018Anujna Pooje\u2019 and others will be held. <\/p>\n

On April 9, \u2018Samhara Tatva Kalashapooje\u2019, \u2018Samhara Tatvahoma,\u2019 \u2018Jeeva Kalashapooje\u2019 and others will be held.<\/p>\n

On April 10, rituals like installation of \u2018Ratnanyasa Agastyeshwara Sanidhya,\u2019 \u2018Ashtabandha Lepana\u2019, \u2018Nidra Kalashabhisheka\u2019 and others will be held.<\/p>\n

On April 11, \u2018Srirudra Homa\u2019 will be held, he added. <\/p>\n

DC visits <\/strong><\/p>\n

Deputy Commissioner Annies Kanmani Joy visited Talacauvery to inspect the arrangements for \u2018Brahmakalashotsava\u2019. After offering pooja at Talacauvery, the deputy commissioner visited Brahmagiri Hill and collected details about arrangements being made from Thammaiah.<\/p>\n

She directed Thammaiah to paint the temple premises to give a new look to \u2018Brahmakalashotsava\u2019. Arrangements should be made for parking of vehicles too, she added.<\/p>\n

The DC took officials to task for failing to demolish KSTDC old building at Talacauvery. She also inspected toilets and changing rooms. Later, she visited Bhagamandala temple and Triveni Sangama.<\/p>\n

On rainwater entering santum sanctorum of Bhagamandala temple, Annies directed the officials to take repair works. She also urged the temple committee to install CCTV cameras at Talacauvery.<\/p>\n
