Team Coorg Oman defeated Axiom Dubai 2-1 in a thrilling match to take the top honours at the 5th UTSC Gulf Cup hockey tournament in Dubai on Friday.

Team Coorg also took the top prize in the individual honours when Omani player Ashraf won the best player award. The best goalkeeper award went to UAE national Ali Abbas of Axiom Dubai while the best veteran player prize was claimed by Anjum Zia of Axiom Nokia.
