Inauguration Of Kodagu Gowda Samaja’s New Auditorium

Kodagu Gowda Samaja President Thotambylaya E. Manohar said that the new auditorium of Kodagu Gowda Samaja at Vijayanagar Railway Layout in the city will be inaugurated on Dec. 23 at 9.30 am.

Addressing media persons at Pathrakarthara Bhavan in city yesterday, Manohar said the auditorium built on the top of the existing building will be inaugurated by Adichunchanagiri Mutt Seer Dr. Sri Nirmalananda-natha Swamiji and Adhi-chunchanagiri Mutt, Mysuru branch’s Someshwaranatha Swamiji. Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simmha, MLA K. Harishgowda, former MLAs L. Nagendra and Vasu, President of Kodagu Gowda Samaja Okkoota Soorthale R. Somanna,  former Corporator K.V. Sridhar and others  will participate.

Kodagu Gowda Samaja Vice-President Kuyyamudi B. Ramappa, Honorary Secretary Kuntikana S. Ganapathy, Assistant Secretary Kaleramma M. Nanaiah, Directors Naduvettira G. Lakshmana and Kombarana U. Basappa were present at the press meet.

‘Kail Muhurtha’ At Kodagu Gowda Samaja On Sept. 17

The Mysuru Kodagu Gowda Samaja will be celebrating ‘Kail Muhurtha’ get-together at the Samaja premises in Vijayanagar II Stage at 9.30 am on Sept.17.

Traditional Ayudha Puja will be held and it will be followed by cultural programmes.  

On the occasion, meritorious children of the Samaja members who have scored high marks in SSLC and PUC (2022-23) and achievers from various fields will be felicitated. Also prizes will be given to the winners of various sports events.

Kodagu Gowda Samaja President Thotambylaya E. Manohar will be preside.

Kodagu Gowda Vidya Sangha – Madikeri President Ambekallu Naveen Kushalappa, Mysuru-Kodagu MP Pratap Simha, MLA K. Harishgowda, former MLAs Vasu and L. Nagendra, Corporator K.V. Sridhar will be present on the occasion, according to press release from the Samaja Hon. Secretary.

Mysuru: 

Former minister and JDS MLA G T Devegowda inaugurated sports and talent award and anniversary celebration of Kodagu Gowda Kshemabhivrudhdhi Sangha at the auditorium of Kodagu Gowda Samaja, Vijayanagar second stage in the city on Sunday.

“Kodavas in Mysuru have been leading a better life. The students should focus on government jobs apart from securing good marks”. 

Kadagu Gowda Sangha President Nadumane Changappa, Vice- president Beppurana Gayatri, honorary secretary Bolana Jayaprasad, assistant secretary Nidyamale Nandesh, treasurer Ponnappana Apaiah and others were present.
